Parade Placement

• Find your parade entry name, listed on the website parade placement list
• Letter indicates the assigned street (see assembly street map on website)
• Number indicates line-up order on assigned street

During the parade

• No alcohol will be permitted during the parade
• No distributing of advertising material
• Please limit performance to 30 seconds in front of
  the reviewing stand
• Please maintain a spacing of 10 meters
• Please no gaps between entries

End of the parade

• Dispersal area - north or south on Tyner as directed by Parade Marshall
• Enjoy the family events and activities at Block Party at Leigh Square

Judging information

• All judging will be done during the parade
• Results will be posted in local paper
• Results available upon request at the Parks & Recreation office after May 19, 2012 (604-927-7900)

ALL DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL

Float requirements

• R.C.M.P.may conduct vehicle checks, so please ensure
  vehicles are properly licensed and insured.
• Must be of proper construction, have good brakes, good
  driver vision and proper ventilation.
• The driver is responsible for the float at all times, while
  in the assembly area and on route.
• Please ensure all participants riding on float are properly
  secured

Please check motor vehicle requirements, vehicles must not exceed the following:
width - 8 feet
height - 12 feet
length - 35 feet (for single vehicle)
* Carry a fire extinguisher (dry chemical at least 5lbs)
* Exhaust pipe must be properly serviced with asbestos where it
passes near any decorations
*Vehicle must be properly serviced with gasoline, water, oil,
and be equipped with tires and battery in good condition.
*Fire department may conduct inspections on the morning of the
parade.
Please assemble at your assigned place no later than 9:45am. Street Closures will commence at 9:30am.
